The key visual for the TV anime "mono," based on the manga by Afro, known for "Laid-Back Camp," has been released. The visual is full of dynamism, depicting the main character, Satsuki Amemiya, holding a 360-degree camera. The first PV was also released on YouTube, and the anime footage was shown for the first time.
It was also announced that halca will be performing the ending theme "Weekend Roll." Halca commented, "I've been doing a radio program that's been broadcast in Yamanashi (where the anime is set) for seven years, so I'm really happy to be involved in "mono" this time! While I wish that days like this could continue forever, I know that they will end someday. In "Weekend Roll," I wrote a song about those irreplaceable moments that everyone holds in their hearts."
"I worked hard on the lyrics in collaboration with Yamazaki Shingo. This was actually the first time I've tried writing lyrics based on the image of a work, so I read the original work over and over again as I worked on it! Yamanashi is a place I love and have even visited on my own time, so I'd like to take this opportunity to go back there with my camera♪ I hope people will enjoy "Weekend Roll" along with the anime. Thank you!"
