The 65th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " starring Akari Takaishi (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others) was broadcast on December 26th. In this episode, viewers focused on the unrequited love of Ginjiro ( Kanichiro) and Eliza (Charlotte Kate Fox).
In episode 65, on the way back from Gesshoji Temple, Toki (Takaishi) receives a marriage proposal from Ginjiro. Meanwhile, Haven (Tommy Bastow) is invited by Eliza to leave Japan and write a travelogue together abroad.
When Toki takes Ginjiro to the Hanada Inn, Eliza and Heaven also return. They are staying in rooms next to each other.
Afterwards, Heaven and Toki part ways at the foot of a bridge. Ginjiro watches Toki cry on the bridge, realizing his love for Heaven, from the inn's window. Eliza then appears and speaks to Ginjiro in English, saying, "You and I are the same..." Although Ginjiro does not understand English, he senses Eliza's feelings and replies, "Yes..."
After witnessing the deep bond between Toki and Heaven, Ginjiro and Eliza stepped aside. On social media, people commented, "They didn't blame the other and the way they stepped aside was so beautiful," "They're both such good people it brings me to tears," "Ginjiro and Eliza.
