The ninth episode of the TBS Friday drama "Takusari Brothers" (Fridays at 10 PM), starring actor Masaki Okada and also featuring Shota Sometani, aired on June 12th, and a character who appeared in a flashback scene drew angry reactions from viewers.

When Sakutaro Tagusari (Masato Wada) found out that Sadao (Hidekazu Nagae) was making handguns at the factory, he persuaded Sadao to turn himself in, saying, "I don't want to be a bad father. I want to be a father that Makoto (Okada) and Minoru (Sometani) can be proud of."
Then, Sasaoka (Yuurei Yanagi), a former detective, and Sadao visit Mogi (Takashi Yamanaka), who is being threatened by the Igarashi gang with eviction. Sasaoka says, "Mr. Mogi, you know Mr. Kaga, the tatami maker, right? He was killed by the Igarashi gang," and Mogi, thinking his mother will be killed next, bows his head to Sasaoka and says, "Please, help me!"
Sasaoka tempted him by saying, "Could you help us out just a little?", and Sadao told Mogi, "I want you to get rid of that family." When Mogi looked confused and asked, "What do you mean by 'get rid of'?", Sadao cornered him by saying, "Kill the Tagasari family."
