It has been revealed that actor Ouji Suzuka will star in the July drama "Legal Beat - The Reversal Courtroom -" (TV Tokyo, Fridays at 9 PM). Suzuka will play a rookie lawyer with a stutter, and this will be his first time starring alone in a prime-time drama series.
rookie lawyer Taichi Sora (played by Suzuka), who struggles with a stutter but finds he can express himself when he gets into the rhythm of rap, teams up with an eccentric senior lawyer and the firm's director, who for some reason avoids appearing in court, to confront the intolerance and vast darkness of modern society. This completely original legal drama picks up on the voices that clients cannot speak and unravels the hidden truth. The script is written by Yoshiyuki Mitsumasu, Shunto Miura, and Ryota Abe, and directed by Naoya Fujita and Masahide Ichii.
It was also announced that Goro Inagaki and Koyuki will be appearing in the series. Inagaki will play Hideyuki Hoshi, a senior lawyer who partners with Taichi as his mentor, while Koyuki will play Asumi Yukimura, the head of the law firm who brought Taichi into the firm.

--Please tell us how you felt when you received the offer to appear in this film, and your impressions after reading the script.
When I received the offer, I was excited about the new role, but at the same time, I was also a little apprehensive, wondering if I could handle it, since it was my first time playing a rapper, a lawyer, and someone with a stutter. However, the supervisors have been there to support me every day on set, and now I feel like I can work hard every day with a positive attitude. I hope you'll look forward to the story as it delves into social issues and human relationships, as well as the scene where I perform rap in court.
--Please tell us your impressions of the role you will be playing.
I thought Taichi was a wonderful person with brightness and passion, someone who can give hope to others. He has a stutter, but because of his various experiences, he has come to want to be someone's voice, and he learns more about empathy in this story. I want to portray Taichi by closely following his thoughts, learning, and experiences.
