It has been revealed that singer Ado will be appearing in Marubeni's new TV commercial "What we can't do, let's do it together. LIVE". This is the first time Ado has appeared in a live-action commercial. The commercial will also premiere her new song "Rock Star".
The commercial dramatically depicts how Ado is about to debut her new song "Rock Star" during a live performance when a power outage occurs, and how she and the audience join forces to overcome the crisis. The commercial is packed with highlights, including Ado's free-flowing and powerful singing performance, as well as large-scale filming that recreates an actual stage and footage that takes place mostly in darkness.
Looking back on the filming, Ado commented, "This was my first time appearing in a commercial, so it was a very special experience. Since it was filming, I had to go through the same live scene movements many times, but as I did so, I felt a new sense of accomplishment and it was an incredibly valuable experience for me. While acting out this scene, I was filled with the desire to use my own strength and the power of music to entertain everyone, no matter what the situation or what happens in my live performances from now on, so I hope that many people enjoy it."
"Let's do what we can't do together. LIVE" will be broadcast nationwide from February 14th. It has also been available on Marubeni's special website since the 13th.
