The 42nd episode of the second season of " Rurouni Kenshin Kyoto Disturbance : Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story ," a new TV anime based on the popular manga by Nobuhiro Watsuki , titled "Tobu ga Gotoku," will be broadcast on Fuji TV's late-night anime slot "Noitamina" and elsewhere on February 13th.
Kenshin and Saito realize that Shishio's other target is Osaka. Sanosuke joins them. Kenshin sends a letter to the Aoiya family asking for their cooperation in preventing the Great Kyoto Fire. He leaves on-site command in Kyoto to the police chief, Arato Ryusaku. After finishing their business, the three head for Osaka Bay in a horse-drawn carriage. Then, senior police officer Omi Hikozaemon brings along an 11-year-old boy, Kitazawa Juro, who wants to meet Arato.
" Rurouni Kenshin" is a popular manga that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from 1994 to 1999. It depicts Himura Kenshin, who was feared as a Battousai assassin during the late Edo period, as a wanderer who vowed not to kill after the Meiji Restoration, searching for a way to live in a new era. A new chapter, "Rurouni Kenshin : Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story Hokkaido Arc", has been serialized in the monthly manga magazine "Jump SQ." (Shōkyōsha) since 2017. The script for the new anime will be supervised by the original author, Watsuki. The first season aired from July to December 2023.
