It has been announced that "Frame Film - Character ver. -" featuring cuts of characters from the series will be distributed from February 15th as the third giveaway to attendees of "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX -Beginning-," the latest installment in the popular anime series Mobile Suit Gundam. Frame films with different designs will be distributed at random. The note attached to the gift reads, "As it contains spoilers for the film, we recommend opening it after watching it."
It was also announced that merchandise featuring the film's characters, Sharia Bull and the Red Gundam, will be on sale at theaters from February 14th. In addition to Sharia Bull acrylic stands and Red Gundam acrylic stands, the lineup will include character clear files and stickers.
"Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" is also a hot topic as it is the first collaboration between Sunrise, which is responsible for the "Gundam" series, and khara, known for the "Evangelion" series. The TV anime series is broadcast on the Nippon Television Network, and a pre-broadcast version of some episodes was released in theaters on January 17th.
The early theatrical release has been a hit, grossing 2.25 billion yen and attracting an audience of over 1.38 million people since its release on January 17th.
