The second PV for the TV anime " From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman, " based on a popular work from the Shosetsuka ni Naro 's Become a Novelist," has been released on YouTube. It depicts the daily life of Beryl and her former students. It was also announced that the rock band "FLOW" will be in charge of the ending theme "Alright!!!," and the song was unveiled in the PV.

The work is a light novel written by Shigeru Sagazaki and illustrated by Tetsuhiro Nabeshima. It is a classic fantasy about a powerful man who is unconsciously unrivaled in swordsmanship. Beryl Gardenant, who runs a small swordsmanship dojo in a rural village, is visited by his former student, Aleucia, who rose to become the head of the royal knights at a young age, and goes to the royal capital as a special instructor for the knights... The comic adaptation by Kazuki Kado was selected for the Piccoma AWARD 2023 and other awards, and the series has gained popularity with a total circulation of over 6.5 million copies.
The anime will be directed by Akio Kasumi and produced by Passione and Hayabusa Films. Hiroaki Hirata will play the main character, Beryl Gardenant. It will be broadcast on TV Asahi's anime slot "IMAnimation" from April.
