In the fourth episode, Tsutaju (Yokohama), who had been successful with "One Thousand Books at a Glance," plans to make a Nishikie print of a prostitute wearing a kimono from a kimono shop with the money from the shop, but struggles to raise funds due to his lack of recognition. Meanwhile, Nishimuraya (Masahiko Nishimura) approaches him about a collaboration, and things seem to be going well with the Nishikie print, but...
Towards the end of the film, Nishimuraya comes to the presentation of the completed nishikie and tells him a certain "rule." Only those who are recognized by their peers can become a publisher. Tsutae is taken by surprise and is frustrated to find out that he has been working for free.
Urokogataya (Kataoka Ainosuke), the man who had "framed" Tsutaju, raised a toast to celebrate with Nishimuraya that night.
