The work is a light novel written by Minamino Umikaze and illustrated by Laruha. It is a fantasy "magic exploration" story about Kunon, a blind genius magician, who delves into the study of magical tools and magic, and pushes forward towards his goal of "creating eyes with magic." The first six volumes of the light novel have been published by Kadokawa Books (KADOKAWA), and the comic adaptation is also gaining popularity.
