The 79th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Omusubi " starring Kanna Hashimoto was broadcast on January 23rd, and viewers were drawn to the plot in which the number of people staying at the Yoneda household gradually increased.
In the 76th episode (broadcast on January 20th), Ruli (Miricham), who is now unemployed after the apparel companies she worked for go bankrupt one after another, visits Yui's (Hashimoto) house and asks for help, asking if she can stay for just one night. Yui consults Ayumi ( Riisa Naka) and introduces her to "Girlies", a second-hand clothing shop run by Chanmika (Matsui Rena). Chanmika welcomes Ruli, and Ruli ends up staying at the Yoneda house until she saves up some money.
In the 79th episode, Himiko (Ikebata Shinnosuke), who runs a snack bar in Itoshima, Fukuoka, suddenly comes to the Yoneda family. Himiko, who stopped by Kobe on her trip, proposes holding a carnival as a project to liven up the "Sakura Street Shopping District". Himiko ends up staying at the Yoneda family for a while as a member of the carnival's executive committee.
Meanwhile, Yuma (Wataru Ichinose), Ayumu's business partner who is in charge of purchasing secondhand clothes overseas, suddenly returns to Japan. Yuma does not seem to have arranged lodging, so he asks Ayumu, "Is there anywhere we can stay?" Ayumu sighs, but takes Yuma back to the Yoneda house.
The next morning, at the Yoneda family's dining table, Yuuma is seen munching down Himiko's home-cooked meal with gusto. Watching this, Masato (Kitamura Yukiya) is left scratching his head, wondering, "Why are more and more people coming?"
