A special visual has been released featuring a collaboration between the Harry Potter film series, which will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the first film next winter, and the popular manga Detective Conan, which celebrated its 30th anniversary last year. This is the first time the two works have collaborated. Both Harry Potter, the protagonist of the Harry Potter series, and Edogawa Conan, the protagonist of Detective Conan, are "glasses-wearing boys," making this a dream collaboration between two popular Japanese and British works.
The "Harry Potter" visual is accompanied by the copy "I love magic," while the "Detective Conan " visual is accompanied by the copy "I love mystery." The project is also fully supported by Gosho Aoyama , the author of " Detective Conan ," who is an avowed fan of "Harry Potter." Aoyama will be serving as a judge for the social media campaign to collect fan art in commemoration of the release of the collaborative visuals.
The winning works of the fan art campaign will be posted on each official SNS and will be awarded a pair of tickets to "Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo - The Making of Harry Potter." If you participate in the "Participation Prize" that can be applied for without posting fan art, you will be entered into a lottery to win Conan and Harry Potter "glasses" related goods.
Nippon Television's movie slot "Friday Road Show" will be broadcasting three films from the "Harry Potter" series for three consecutive weeks starting from January 17th. "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" will be broadcast on the 17th, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1" on the 24th, and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" on the 31st.
