The program "Legendary Concert 'Akina Nakamori Special Live 1989 Remastered Version,'" which brings back the live performance by singer Akina Nakamori in April 1989 as a remastered version equivalent to 4K quality, will be rebroadcast on NHK BS from 11:57 a.m. on December 29th.
After passing a popular audition program, Nakamori debuted with the single "Slow Motion" in May 1982. She subsequently released a succession of hits, including "Shojo A," "Second Love," and "Kinku," which topped the charts, and won The Japan Record Awards for two consecutive years in 1985 with "Mi Amore" and in 1986 with "DESIRE -Jonetsu-."
The program was first broadcast on March 19, 2022, and is known for the huge response it received. At the time, Nakamori, who captivated many people with her overwhelming singing ability and expressiveness and quickly became one of Japan's leading singers, held a concert to commemorate the 8th anniversary of her debut, singing 24 singles, and the video will be available to enjoy in a realistic setting.
