Episode 1144 of the TV anime "Detective Conan" (Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV, Saturday 6pm), based on the popular manga by Gosho Aoyama, titled "The Serial Hotel Bombings (Part 1)", will be broadcast on December 7th.
Conan is invited to the Hotel Hato by Sera Masumi, who has obtained the code used in a series of hotel bombings that have shocked the world. Sera and her mother, Mary Akai, the "out-of-area sister," have a certain purpose behind the invitation. However, when they come across the scene of a new bomb threat, Conan and Sera learn that the bomber's next target is this hotel. Together with Kisaki Eri, the wife of Kogoro, who happens to be the hotel's legal adviser, they begin deciphering the code to find out where the bomb was planted and who the bomber was.
"Detective Conan" is a popular manga serialized by Aoyama in the manga magazine "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan). It depicts elementary school detective Conan Edogawa solving difficult cases that occur one after another.
