It has been announced that the movie " Kowloon Generic Romance " (directed by Chihiro Ikeda), co-starring actors Riho Yoshioka and Koshi Mizukami, will be released on August 29th. It was also announced that the theme song for the movie will be performed by the five-member band "Kroi". The theme song is their new song "HAZE". The official trailer for the movie has also been released.

The series is a mystery love romance that began serialization in Weekly Young Jump (Shueisha) in November 2019. Reiko Kujirai, who works at a real estate agency in the nostalgic city of Kowloon, has a slight crush on her senior at work, Kudo Hatsu. When she comes across a photo, she learns that Kudo once had a fiance who looks just like her... As the past, present, and future intertwine, with lost memories, the true identity of her other self, and a huge secret hidden in the city of Kowloon, love will unravel the secrets.

Yoshioka will play the role of Kujirai Reiko and Mizukami will play the role of Kudo Hatsu, and other cast members include Ryusei Ryo, Yanagi Shuntaro, and Nogizaka46's Umezawa Minami.
