The seventh episode of the TV drama "The Travel Nurse" (TV Asahi, Thursdays 9pm), starring actor Okada Masaki, will be broadcast on December 5th.
Ayumu Nasuda (Okada) encounters a talented table tennis player, Nanaka Asakura (Sato Koharu), who is having difficulty breathing on the side of the road. With the help of a former nurse, Megumi Yagi (Wakamura Mayumi), who happens to be passing by, he administers first aid. However, Nanaka's condition is so critical that every second counts, and Ayumu uses his own judgment to perform the appropriate medical treatment and save her life.
However, Nanaka's ribs were broken. Her mother, Misato Asakura (Itsumi Matsuoka), who had been a passionate coach for her daughter in table tennis, was furious and threatened to sue Ayumu and the hospital.
Ayumu is proud that he prioritized the patient's life and took the best possible measures. However, the hospital director, Taku Yakushimaru (Ikusaburo Yamazaki), who is taking a cautious approach to protect the hospital's reputation, suspends Ayumu.
Shizuka Kuki (Kiichi Nakai) acts in a way that upsets Yakushimaru and Misato, based on his own beliefs. Meanwhile, an incident occurs that causes even more turmoil in the hospital. Nanakana suddenly disappears from her hospital room...!
A sequel to the drama of the same name that aired in October 2022. Ayumu, a qualified nurse practitioner who can perform certain medical procedures, and Shizuka, a "super nurse" who heals people by observing them, are a quirky duo who put patients first and reform the medical field.
