"This Week's New Releases" provides information on new comics. Approximately 220 titles of major comics will be released from December 2nd to 7th. The final volume 42 of "My Hero Academia", which ended its 10-year serialization with the final episode in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) in August, volume 19 of Tatsuki Fujimoto's "Chainsaw Man", volume 18 of "Ao no Hako" currently being broadcast as a TV anime, and volume 6 of "Hikari ga Shina Natsu" which is also being talked about as being broadcast as a TV anime in the summer of 2025, are among the hot topics that will be released one after another. On December 4th, "Weekly Shonen Jump" works will be released, including the final volume 42 of "My Hero Academia", volume 18 of "Ao no Hako", volume 18 of "Nige Jouzu no Wakakunin", volume 5 of "Kagurabachi", volume 3 of "Negai no Astro", volume 7 of "Nue no Onmyouji", and volume 27 of "Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen". Other titles to be released include volume 6 of "The Summer When Light Died," volume 19 of "Chainsaw Man," volume 9 of "Shohashoten!" by Takeshi Obata, known for "Death Note," volume 20 of "Forgotten Battery," which has been announced to have a second season, volume 17 of "Mato Seihei no Slave," and volume 3 of "Ghost Fixers" by Yasunori Tanaka, known for "Summertime Render." On December 5th, volume 3 of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Flanagan Boone Senki," a manga featuring Zeon soldier Flanagan Boone, who appeared in episode 28 of the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam," "The Atlantic, Stained with Blood," will be released, as well as volume 26 of "Gakuen Babysitters," which has been adapted into a TV anime, and volume 215 of the long-running "Golgo 13." On December 6th, the latest works in the popular fighting manga series "Baki" by Itagaki Keisuke, "Bakirahen" volume 3, "BEAST COMPLEX" volume 4, which is the origin of "BEASTARS" by Itagaki Paru, "Matsuken Quest ~ Matsuken Summoned to Another World, Defeats the Demon King with Samba ~" volume 3, in which "Matsuken" Matsudaira Ken is summoned to another world, "Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun" volume 40, which is also popular as an anime, "SHY" volume 27, "Nezumi no Hatsukoi" volume 4, a "hitman love story" in which a girl raised as a hitman falls in love, "Daredememo Dakeru Kimi ga Suki" volume 5, which is currently being serialized in "Young Magazine" (Kodansha), "Under Ninja" volume 14, which is also a hot topic as a live-action movie will be released in January 2025, and "Higanjima 48 Days Later..." volume 47 of Matsumoto Koji's "Higanjima" series. *The release date is subject to change due to shipping circumstances.
