The synopsis of the seventh episode of the drama series "Monster" (Kantele/Fuji TV, Mondays at 10pm), starring actress Shuri, to be aired on November 25th, has been released.
In the seventh episode, residents of a town where the popular drama was filmed come to ask for advice, unable to tolerate the nuisance caused by fans who have come on a pilgrimage to the sacred site. It turns out that even though it has been a year since the drama ended, crowds of people still flock to the park where the filming took place, and trash is strewn everywhere. At the local manju (bun) shop "Miyakoshi," there is also a line every day for the collaboration buns with the drama.
Meanwhile, the drama's producer, Sakaguchi Takehiro (Hayashi Yasufumi), is holding a talk show in the park, and rumors are circulating that the lead actor might make a surprise appearance. Sure enough, on the day, far more fans than expected gathered, and "Miyakoshi" also set up a stall at the venue to sell the collaboration buns. However, just then, employee Maezono Rikako (Hori Miona) falls and is electrocuted by the wiring of the equipment, losing consciousness. Naturally, the event is canceled and the decision is made to temporarily close the park.
A little while later, Rikako, who narrowly escaped death, visits the office and says that she wants to sue the tourism department of the city hall, the business department of the TV station, and the owner of "Miyakoshi," who forced her to work so hard that she collapsed from lack of sleep, for 100 million yen in damages, claiming that the accident was caused by poor safety measures at the event. Sugiura (Jesse of SixTONES), who was unexpectedly appointed, immediately begins an investigation in preparation for filing a lawsuit. Meanwhile, Ryoko, who has become Sugiura's support this time, is confronted by her father, Tsuburai (Furuta Arata), who defeated her in the previous trial... and so the story unfolds.
"Monster" is a unique legal entertainment story in which Shuri, in her first lead role in a primetime drama series, plays the mysterious monster lawyer Kannami Ryoko, who is not bound by "common sense" and faces her opponents by "eliminating emotions", facing various problems unique to the Reiwa era where the law sometimes does not keep up, and facing court battles as if it were a game. The script is written by Hashibe Atsuko, who wrote the "Boku Series trilogy" including "Boku no Ikiru Michi" (Kantele/Fuji TV).
