The second episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre "Reboot" (Sundays at 9pm) starring Suzuki Ryohei was broadcast on January 25th. The scene in which Fuyuhashi Wataru, played by Nagase Ren of the popular group King & Prince, appears behind the main character without any warning, drew attention from viewers, who commented that it was "chilling."

Fuyuhashi, played by Nagase, is a direct subordinate of Goroku Wataru (played by Kitamura Yukiya), the head of the underground organization. He is responsible for carrying out Goroku's work.
Goroku is convinced that Gido is responsible for the theft of the missing 1 billion yen. Hayase (played by Suzuki), who has disguised himself as Gido, is told by Goroku that he will lose his life if he does not find the real culprit by midnight tomorrow.
Ichika (Toda Erika) appears before Hayase, who is distraught and doesn't understand the situation, and reveals that Natsumi (Yamaguchi Sayaka) was in charge of accounting for Goroku's organization and had been diverting money to Gido. She also explains that Natsumi was the one who managed the 1 billion yen in cash that Goroku had been entrusted with at Tokuryu's request, and that Natsumi disappeared at the same time that the 1 billion yen disappeared and Goroku's search for the culprit began.
Goroku suspects that Gido is hiding the 1 billion yen that disappeared after Natsumi was murdered... When Hayase learns the true identity of Gido, whom he rebooted, and Natsumi's true nature, he panics.
As the midnight deadline approached, Fuyuhashi appeared quietly in front of Hayase as he walked down the street. "It's time for dinner," he announced, and took the gun from Hayase.
At the dinner, Ichika (Toda Erika) reports that no secret bank account has been found for Natsumi. While it is believed that someone other than Natsumi stole the 1 billion yen and killed her, lawyer Kaieda (Sakami Yoshi) concludes, "In this case, doesn't it have to be Gido? The fact that he went into hiding for six months after being suspected is the best evidence of his guilt."
When Goroku asked Hayase, "Did you find anything to refute?", Hayase gave no reply. "Well, then, why don't you have something delicious to eat before you finish?" Goroku said, and Fuyuhashi suddenly appeared behind Hayase. On social media, the incident became a hot topic, with comments such as "It's thrilling when Fuyuhashi appears behind Gido without any warning every time," "It's scary when Fuyuhashi stands behind me every time," and "Fuyuhashi is so cool, even though he's just standing there in the background."
The drama is a suspense story about Hayase Riku, who is framed for the murder of his wife, abandoning his family and past to reboot himself as a corrupt detective, Gido, and pursue the real culprit. The script is written by Tsutomu Kuroiwa, who has worked on many hit Sunday Theatre dramas such as "Grand Maison Tokyo," "TOKYO MER: Running Emergency Room," and "My Family."
