It was revealed on November 21st that the next installment of the popular anime series "KING OF PRISM" will be produced. On the same day, a special PV "∞ Love Thanks Movie" was screened and announced at the event "-∞ Love Thanks Week Eve Festival-" held at Shinjuku Wald 9 (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo). At the end of the PV, the copy "And the sparkle moves to a new stage--" was played. Details such as the release date will be announced in the future.
It was also announced that the box office revenue of the latest theatrical version "KING OF PRISM -Dramatic PRISM.1-" has exceeded 400 million yen. The film is the first theatrical release in about four years since "KING OF PRISM ALL STARS-All Star☆Best Ten-" was released in January 2020, and was released on August 16th. The number of audiences has exceeded 1.5 million, including the 4DX, Screen X, and ULTRA 4DX versions that began screening on October 25th, making it a hit.
It was also announced that the latest movie will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on March 19, 2025. Bonus footage will include a stage greeting by the main cast, a special edited version of the weekly prelude "Dramatic Prism Star Interview," a special prelude "Juouin Group Employee General Meeting," and newly recorded audio commentary by voice actors Fumihiko Tachiki and Junta Terashima, and general director Masakazu Hishida. The set will also include an "Official Tournament CD" containing songs performed by the stars in the "PRISM.1" tournament in the film.
To commemorate the success of the movie, a fan appreciation event called "-∞Love Thanks Week-" will be held from November 22 to 28. "KING OF PRISM -Dramatic PRISM.1-" will be screened again at 129 cinemas nationwide, including those where the film has already finished screening. As a bonus for attendees, they will receive a "Thank you for all the love! STAFF THANKS BOOK," in which the entire staff express their gratitude. An original illustration by character designer Matsuura Mai will also be included.
