NHK MUSIC SPECIAL TWICE: Dreams Continue to Come True with 9 Members, a program featuring the Asian nine-member girl group TWICE, will be broadcast on NHK General TV from 10:00 pm on November 21st. The program will closely follow the live performance at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama, the final stop of the world tour that attracted 1.5 million people. It will feature long interviews with each of the nine members, the first of their kind on Japanese television, as well as past footage, and will unravel the group's past, present, and future.
Formally debuting in Korea in 2015, the group has set a new record for the highest number of views among girl groups worldwide, with 24 music videos of songs released to date exceeding 100 million views on YouTube. They have also achieved the number one spot on the US music chart, Billboard, and have grown into one of the world's top girl groups in both name and reality.
The group embarked on their fifth world tour in April last year. It was a large-scale tour that attracted 1.5 million people in 14 countries around the world, and the final stop was Nissan Stadium in Yokohama. She was the first foreign female artist to perform live at Japan's largest stadium, which can accommodate 70,000 people.
The program will take a behind-the-scenes look at the Nissan Stadium concert, revealing the hidden feelings behind it, and the pain and joy she has experienced up until now. There will also be a special performance just for the program.
