Actor Motoki Masahiro will appear on Kuroyanagi Tetsuko's long-running talk show "Tetsuko no Heya" (TV Asahi) for the first time in 35 years, on November 21 at 1pm. He says he decided to appear on talk shows, which he dislikes, because his mother is a fan of Kuroyanagi. With footage, he looks back on his appearance at the age of 23, six months after finishing his activities with "Shibugakitai".
Motoki married Uchida Yayako at the age of 29. He says he lived with his mother-in-law Kiki Kirin in a two-family home. It was Kiki's suggestion that they do so. He also talks about the strange marital relationship between Uchida Yuya and Kiki.
Motoki has three children. All three have now grown up. In the past, when the couple would have fights, his eldest son would step in and mediate. In 2012, he moved with his family to London, England, where he spent five years. He looks back on being able to spend time with his family, something he rarely experienced in Tokyo.
