The synopsis of the sixth episode of the drama series "Monster" (Kantele/Fuji TV, Mondays at 10pm), starring actor Shuri, which will air on November 18th, has been released.
In the sixth episode, Ryoko (Shuri) and Tsuburai (Furuta Arata) reunite for the first time in 12 years, and at the same time, they will fight in court as the plaintiff and defendant, respectively. Sugiura (Jesse from SixTONES) is anxious about the confrontation between the two, who have a complicated father-son relationship, but Sugiura himself seems to be unconcerned and is rather looking forward to the showdown with his father.
However, his opponent is a seasoned and powerful lawyer. Ryoko, who knows his tricks well, thinks it will be difficult to prove whether the treatment given by Okamoto Premier Clinic to Masaru (Ishibashi Ryo), the father of the plaintiff Sato Ema (Akimoto Sayaka), was appropriate or not.
So Ryoko focuses on Kajita Motoko (Shimada Momoi), the nurse who inherited a large sum of money after Masaru's death, and tries to prove that Motoko deceived Masaru and cheated him out of his inheritance. Sugiura, who was looked after by Motoko during her hospitalization, is the only one who is reluctant to go along with this plan, but according to the former director, in the past, a patient who had feelings for her had caused money-related trouble. Still, Sugiura cannot believe that Motoko is a bad woman, and is admitted to Okamoto Premier Clinic again to see the truth for himself. However, Motoko is nowhere to be found...
Meanwhile, Ryoko is concerned that Masaru had secretly rewritten his will, and asks Jono (Nakagawa Tsubasa) to find the person who wrote the second will, the existence of which even Ema was unaware.
Furuta, who plays Tsuburai, the father-son battle in the courtroom, commented, "Tsurai has no intention of losing to Ryoko, and of course Ryoko has no intention of losing either, so I think the two of them will continue to get more and more interesting." As legal dramas often have a lot of technical terms in their lines, he praised the lead actress Shuri, saying, "Especially in episode 6, which is about medical defense, I was amazed that she could do that," but he also revealed behind the scenes of the filming, saying, "Shuri said, 'I want the memory bread (from Doraemon's secret gadgets)!' (laughs)."
"Monster" is a unique legal entertainment in which Shuri, who plays the lead role in her first primetime drama series, plays the mysterious monster lawyer Ryoko Kannami, who is not bound by "common sense" and faces her opponents by "eliminating emotions," and faces various problems unique to the Reiwa era, where the law sometimes does not keep up, and faces court battles as if it were a game. The script will be written by Atsuko Hashibe, who wrote the "Boku Series trilogy" including "My Way of Life" (Kantele/Fuji TV).
