Actress Riho Yoshioka will appear in Nissin Foods' new TV commercial for "Donbei" instant noodles, titled "The Return of Donkitsune," which will air from April 24th, marking her return to the role of "Donkitsune" after approximately four years. A visual of Donkitsune drowning in bonito flakes, the key ingredient in the broth, has also been released.
In the "Goodbye, Don Kitsune" commercial aired four years ago, Yoshioka showcased adorable white-based fashion and cute demeanor. This time, however, she's clad in a black dress and displays a range of expressions exuding mature charm. Her aura has completely changed from four years ago, making her a more grown-up "Don Kitsune."
In an interview where she was wearing the "Don Kitsune" ears, she said, "I feel like it's a part of me, strangely enough. It felt like a 'welcome back' feeling."
