Kazama Shunsuke, 41, who is also active as an actor and presenter, will make his first appearance on Kuroyanagi Tetsuko's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi) on November 19th at 1pm. The fun true face of this "unique idol" who continues to be active in many fields will be revealed. There will also be a scene where he will show off something at Kuroyanagi's unreasonable request.
Kazama grew up in a downtown Tokyo neighborhood in a family of four, including his parents and an older sister. He was an attention seeker and wanted to appear on TV, but he recalls that it was only to make a peace sign behind the live weather segment. He says that he feels loved by his family, including his cheerful mother and his father who checks Kazama's work at an incredible speed, but he also talks about the unforgettable words of his late grandfather.
His life changed dramatically at the age of 14 when he decided to send his resume to an idol agency. 27 years have passed since then. He talks about how he really feels about being recognized as an actor rather than a singer or dancer, and how he feels about that. He also shares a memory of being mistaken for a child by Kuroyanagi when he was in his 20s and receiving a candy.
