It has been announced that the anime "Chousoku Spinner", based on a manga by Takashi Hashiguchi about the popular toy "Hyper Yo-Yo" (Bandai) from the late 1990s, will be released on various video streaming services such as Bandai Channel, Hulu, and TELASA, as well as YouTube, from November 4th. The TV anime aired from November 1998 to September 1999, and will be released for streaming after about 25 years since its broadcast.
"Chousoku Spinner" is a manga that was serialized in "Monthly CoroCoro Comic" (Shogakukan) from 1997 to 2000. The story depicts hot Hyper Yo-Yo battles between boys, with the Hyper Yo-Yo as the main subject.
It was also announced that the new "Accel Round" from the latest Hyper Yo-Yo series "Hyper Yo-Yo Accel" will be released on December 7th. The weight and size of the yo-yo body are large, and it can be spun for a long time, making it easier to perform difficult slow tricks such as "Two Hand Star" and "Crazy Swing", which require a long sleep time. There are three types in total: the clear red Crimson Ouroboros, the clear black Darkness Bug, and the clear blue Sapphire Blade.
It has also been revealed that Tou's manga "Hyper Yo-Yo Accel," based on the Hyper Yo-Yo Accel, will begin serialization in the December issue of "Monthly CoroCoro Comic," which goes on sale on November 15th. The special one-shot that was well-received in the August issue of the magazine will be serialized.
