To commemorate the release of the latest 4th volume of the manga "Futsuu no Keionbu" (Futsuu no Keionbu), which is currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+" on November 1st, support posters featuring 15 artists were put up in bookstores nationwide and in the Americamura area of Osaka. The posters feature the logos of artists who are regular fans of the manga, such as "ACIDMAN", "a flood of circle", "KANA-BOON", "Kyuso Nekokami", "Shinsei Kamattechan", "Necry Talkie", "Hump Back", "Hitorie", "PEOPLE 1", "Pop Shinanaide", "Regal Lily", "reGretGirl", as well as Ado, Kitani Tatsuya, and Nisshoku Natsuko.
The latest 4th volume includes an episode depicting the first live performance of the band "Heart Break" that is featured in the manga, which has attracted a great response with the highest number of views and comments in the series' history. Many comic-only contents have also been included, such as a Q&A corner, which is a first for the series. There will also be a giveaway campaign, which can be entered using the entry ticket attached to the paper version of the fourth volume. 100 people will be chosen by lottery to win the first ever giant poster for "Heart Break."
"Futsuu no Kakuonbu" will be released on "Jump Rookie!" and on the original author Kuwahari's X (Twitter) in January 2023. With illustrations by Deuchi Tetsuo, the series began serialization in "Shonen Jump+" in January this year. The story follows Hatono Chihiro, a high school freshman who loves a slightly more mellow Japanese rock music, as she joins the light music club she admires, and through her band activities, she throws herself into the role of guitar vocalist and as a high school student, struggling and growing. In the 10 months since the series began, the total number of views has exceeded 36 million, and it has also been a hot topic as it won first place in the web manga category of the "Next Manga Awards 2024."
