The second interlude video for the first animated film based on the popular smartphone game "Project SEKAI Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku (ProSeka)," which features Hatsune Miku, has been released in some theaters.
The video depicts the encounter between Hatsune Miku and her friends, accompanied by the narration, "Project SEKAI This is... a story of music and growth woven by everyone and Miku." The video plays "Gunjo Sanka," a newly written song for the first anniversary of "ProSeka" by Eve, and familiar characters from the game make an appearance. Following Hatsune Miku's words, "So I want you to teach me. How to sing," the video depicts the characters who have grown through Miku's music, struggling to fulfill Miku's wish.
The film is a completely original story, depicting a "new Hatsune Miku" not depicted in the game meeting the characters of "ProSeka" and growing up. It will be produced by P.A.WORKS, the studio behind "true tears" and "SHIROBAKO." It is scheduled to be released on January 17, 2025.
