The variety special "Tunnels' 240 Million Continent Special," starring comedy duo "Tunnels" Ishibashi Takaaki and Kinashi Noritake, will be broadcast on Fuji TV's "Saturday Premium" slot (Saturday 9pm) on October 19th. This will be the first time that Ishibashi and Kinashi will appear together on a Fuji TV program in six and a half years, since the final episode of "Tunnels' Thanks to You All" (March 22nd, 2018).

"Tunnels" will hold "Tunnels THE LIVE" at Nippon Budokan (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo) on November 8th and 9th. The program will follow Ishibashi and Kinashi closely ahead of the performance, broadcasting a documentary-style segment called "Shounetsu Tairiku," which follows their every move.

"Shounetsu Tairiku" is a parody of "Jonetsu Tairiku" (MBS/TBS), which previously aired as part of "Tonneruzu no Minasan no Okagesamadeshita" and drew a huge response. This episode of "Shounetsu Tairiku" will look into the unknown side of the duo and their hidden thoughts as they prepare for their first live performance at the Nippon Budokan in 29 years.

Another major project is the "240 Million Impersonation Medley Championship." Participants will compete to win by incorporating impersonations of multiple famous people into one chorus of Hiromi Go's "240 Million Eyes - Exotic Japan."

Tonneruzu appeared on "Tonneruzu no Minasan no Okagesamadeshita," which was broadcast four times as a special program from November 1986 to March 1988. The show began airing regularly in October 1988, and after going through "Rasta Tunnels '94" and "Tonneruzu no Honjiru Desho!!", the title was changed to "Tonneruzu no Minasan no Okage Deshita" in June 1997, and it has run for 30 years, with over 1,300 episodes. Much to everyone's regret, "Minaoka" has come to an end. The Tunnels, who brought the legendary show to the world, will now write a new chapter...

In addition to Ishibashi and Kinashi, the cast also includes comedian Yamazato Ryota of the comedy duo Nankai Candies, actor Amami Yuki, fencer Nagano Yudai, announcer Fujimoto Marino, impersonators Kannazuki, Haraguchi Akimasa, Koga Shu, Johnny Shimura, Miracle Hikaru, Yuzo, Mikan, and comedian Kintaro. , and Takuya Tsuru from the comedy duo "La Parfait."
