The drama "GOOD LUCK!!", starring Kimura Takuya and broadcast on TBS's "Sunday Theatre" (Sundays at 9pm) in January 2003, is now available on TVer. This is to celebrate the release of Kimura's movie "Grand Maison Paris" (directed by Tsukahara Ayuko) on December 30th. The drama is a youth drama that depicts the growth of a rookie co-pilot who dreams of becoming a captain, played by Kimura, as he interacts with his colleagues and family.
The cast includes a star-studded cast, including Shinkai Gen, played by Kimura, who takes the controls to realize his childhood dream of flying in the sky, as well as senior pilot Koda Kazuki, Shibasaki Kou as Ogawa Ayumi, a mechanic who later begins a relationship with Gen, and Kuroki Hitomi as cabin attendant Togashi Noriko. The script was written by Inoue Yumiko.
The series consists of 10 episodes, and the final episode garnered an average household viewership rating of 37.6% (according to Video Research, Kanto region), making it the third highest rating in the history of Sunday Theater since it became a serial drama slot in 1993.
