It has been revealed that new mecha, styled and designed by Shoji Kawamori, will appear in "Medarot Card Robattle RB," a Nintendo Switch game in the popular "Medarot" series. The two mecha, Arcadia, a Hermes-type Medarot, and Thrud, a Valkyrie-type Medarot, will participate in battles as leader Medarots. They will play an important role in influencing the strategy of card robattles as the central presence of the deck.
It was also announced that Shushupop, Realila, and Cheerful Bunny, who are active as "MedaTubers" on the official Medarot YouTube channel, will appear in the game.
"Medabots" is a game set in a near-future world where humans and robots coexist. The first installment was released in 1997 for the Game Boy (Nintendo). It boasts cumulative shipments of over 3.3 million copies. The anime and manga adaptations have also gained popularity.
"Medarot Card Robattle RB" is a completely new game that utilizes elements from the "Medarot" series, such as mechs, parts, and medals, to allow players to enjoy strategic robot battles (robattles). It will be released on June 25th.
