"Best Mecha Collection 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam (REVIVAL Ver.)" (Bandai Spirits), a revival kit of the original Gunpla (plastic model) "1/144 Gundam" from the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam" released in 1980, was released on October 12th.
This product commemorates the 45th anniversary of Gunpla, and is a "nostalgic yet new" Gunpla that makes use of the technology cultivated over the past 45 years. The retro form is packed with technology cultivated over the course of evolution. It incorporates technologies such as Iropura, touch gate, and snap fit.
The shape of each part is carefully considered, and the color coding of the entire body is expressed in detail. The structure is designed so that the seams of the parts are not visible from the front. Two beam sabers of different lengths and one attached to a backpack are included.
