It has been announced that Iwafune Akira's light novel "Potion, Save Myself," which originated from the novel submission site "Shosetsuka ni Naro," will be made into a TV anime and will begin airing in October.
The story is about an ordinary high school girl, Kaede, who travels to another world and uses her ability to create potions to earn a living while also achieving great success with the friends she meets. The story has been published as a book by Hero Bunko (Imagica Infos) and is also being adapted into a comic by Hero Comics (same publisher).
Original author Iwafune commented, "I am truly happy to have been blessed with this wonderful and unexpected connection. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the readers and people involved who have supported me up to this point. I hope you will continue to enjoy the world of 'Potion, Save Yourself'."
Tobe Yoshiko, who is in charge of the illustrations, said, "Congratulations on the anime adaptation of 'Potion, Save Yourself'! I'm looking forward to seeing Kaede and Cardeno and the others talking and moving. I hope everyone will enjoy it, whether they're familiar with the original work or are meeting them for the first time."
