Special program "Anpan x RADWIMPS Special" to be broadcast

It has been announced that a special program titled " Anpan x RADWIMPS Special" for the NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 AM and other times), starring Mio Imada , will be broadcast on General TV from 10:00 PM on August 7th.

Imada, who plays the main character Nobu, Takumi Kitamura , who plays Taka, who is modeled after Takashi Yanase Takashi, the manga artist and picture book author who created "Anpanman," and the rock band "RADWIMPS," who wrote the theme song "Tamamono," will be talking together for the first time. They will talk about filming anecdotes from the famous scenes that received a great response from viewers, memorable lines, and the behind-the-scenes of the theme song's production.

During the talk, they each talked about their favorite Anpanman characters, and the characters they chose were revealed.

The two members of RADWIMPS will also visit Kochi, the setting of the drama. They will revisit Yanase's work in his hometown and rediscover the charm of the Yanase couple. For RADWIMPS, who are originally from Yokohama, Kochi is actually an important city in the band's activities, and the program will also feature them visiting places that hold unforgettable memories. Furthermore, RADWIMPS will perform "Gift" for the first time on television, performing the song in full.

The narration will be provided by Toda Keiko, who plays the role of Maki Tetsuko in " Anpan," and the talk corner will be conducted by announcer Risa Hayashida, who also provides the voice acting for the narration.
