Stickers for the manga "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan), which is also popular as a TV anime, entitled "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Sticker Lottery Chapter 1: The Magic of Stickers Coming Out of Envelopes" (same publisher) went on sale on October 11th at select bookstores and convenience stores nationwide. They are priced at 660 yen each.
The stickers feature designs of famous scenes from Frieren, Himmel, and others, and there are eight types in total, including one secret type. The stickers feature carefully selected scenes from themes such as "Lots of Himmel," "Various Magic," "The Master's Back," "Time Flies Like an Arrow," "Demons and Monsters...," "The Sleepers, the Awakeners, the Sleepless," and "A Once-in-a-Lifetime Encounter on the Journey," and are randomly enclosed in six types of envelopes.
"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" in April 2020. Frieren is a magician in the hero's party who defeated the Demon King. Being an elf, she lives a long life. After experiencing the death of a companion, she sets out on a journey to "get to know people." The series has sold over 22 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from September 2023 to March 2024 on Nippon TV's anime slot "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT (Fura-ani)." There is also talk of a second season being produced.
