Kanna Hashimoto stars in the NHK morning drama series "Omusubi" (General TV, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. and others), which will air in the second half of 2024. The third week, "What is a dream?", begins on October 14th.

Yui (Hashimoto) is practicing parapara with some gals when her classmate Yota (Sugao Araki) discovers her and follows her without telling Yui.

Seijin (Kitamura Yukiya), who doesn't know about Yui's gal activities, is worried about her coming home late for a calligraphy club member, but Aiko (Aso Kumiko), who understands the situation, skillfully mediates between them. Meanwhile, when the gals ask Yui what her dream is for the future, she replies that she doesn't have any particular idea and that her dream is to take over the farm.

Meanwhile, in the calligraphy club, Emi (Nakamura Moriri) asks Kazami about his preferences in women and says that Yui is perfect for them.

"Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" about a heroine born in 1989 who, with a "gal spirit" that values being true to herself at all times, connects people's hearts and futures as a nutritionist. It is an original work by screenwriter Nemoto Nonji, known for NHK's drama "Honest Real Estate," among others.
