On August 25th, comedian Kuruma Takahira of the comedy duo "Reiwa Roman" appeared at the Forbes JAPAN 30 UNDER 30 2025 awards ceremony, which selects 30 people "under 30 who will change the world," held in Tokyo. Takahira, who received the award last year and attended as MC this year, drew laughter with his self-deprecating comment, "Last year, I was selected as one of the 30 people who will change the world. But I missed the mark a bit..."
In addition to the "Forbes JAPAN 30 UNDER 30 2025" awards, the winners of the "FUTURE TALENT STUDIO INTREPRENEURS AWARD," which recognizes intrapreneurs (corporate entrepreneurs) who are shaping the future, were also announced on the day, and a talk session was held.
After the talk session, fellow MC, freelance announcer Noriko Fukuda, asked Takahira, "Knowing a company's assets (its assets, accumulated know-how, and strengths) is surprisingly important." Takahira replied, "I had no idea what my company's assets were...I didn't know," which livened up the venue.
The ceremony was attended by seven-member girl group HANA, who were selected for "30 Under 30," JESSICA, a member of the four-member YouTube group "Princess at Midnight" who is a creator, dancer, and choreographer, shogi player Takumi Ito, YouTuber ISSEI, and actress Minami Hamabe, who received the "Audi Special Award."
