The third episode of the TV anime "Chi. -About the Earth's Movement-", based on the manga by Uo Yutaka, which was also selected for the Manga Grand Prize at the 26th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize, titled "I Believe in the Copernican Theory", will be broadcast on NHK General TV from 11:45 pm on October 12th.
Realizing that Rafal had inherited the heretical ideology of the executed Hubert, the heliocentric theory, Novak puts pressure on his father-in-law Potocki. Potocki was also a heretic who was once fascinated by the heliocentric theory and arrested. Potocki's betrayal leads to Rafal's arrest. "If I abandon the heliocentric theory, everything will be forgiven." Forced to make a choice in court, Rafal's actions are unbelievable.
The series was serialized in "Weekly Big Comic Spirits" (Shogakukan) from 2020 to 2022. Set in 15th century Europe, the story depicts people risking their lives to study the heretical theory of heliocentrism. The anime will be produced by Madhouse, the studio behind "Summer Wars."
