Actor Kaku Chikako will be appearing on Kuroyanagi Tetsuko's long-running talk show "Tetsuko no Heya" (TV Asahi), broadcasting on October 9th at 1pm. Kaku, who debuted 42 years ago and will soon be turning 63, will be making an appearance.
Kaku's close parents are both in their 90s and live happily in the neighborhood. She says that she makes it a daily habit to call her mother every night and tell her not to fall. She also says that she sometimes goes out to buy heavy items for her parents, and says that she wants to show her appreciation for her parents in small ways every day.
Now over 60, she says that she has learned and practiced various health methods from television and at work. She will introduce some simple health methods that she practices in her spare time. She says that she finds relaxation in looking at the sky and beautiful scenery, and that she has recently been taking photos. She will introduce photos of the most beautiful aurora she has ever seen, as well as Lake Shikaribetsu in Hokkaido.
