The new lineup of idol group "LINKL PLANET," which serves as the official PR ambassador for Bandai Spirits' plastic models, has been announced. The nine members, leader Miyazaki Nana, Amakawa Remi, Arai Mei, Ishida Yuka, Omoto Yukina, Sato Sakina, Suzuki Karin, Takayanagi Kouka, and Higashionna Ruka, were selected through the "LINKL PLANET Jinsei Gekokujo Audition," which began accepting applications in March.
The audition included area-based screening, a performance training camp, and a plastic model-related audition, with the original members of "LINKL PLANET" and candidates competing for a place in the "new LINKL PLANET." In July, the group teamed up with TV Tokyo to air the program "Jinsei Gekokujo Audition," which followed the auditions and attracted a lot of attention.
Leader Miyazaki commented, "I think that the big change in LINKL PLANET that began with the Jinsei Gekokujo Audition, which began after we failed to reach 1,000 attendees at our 2nd LIVE 'PLAMOFUL DAY Challenge to 1,000', is a challenge for our next possibilities. With many thoughts in mind, the new LINKL PLANET of nine members will get started. We ask for your enthusiastic support for us, LINKL PLANET, as we head to a new stage."
The single "Color me Happy" by the "new LINKL PLANET" will be released on November 20th. In addition to the audition song "Color me Happy," the single will include three new songs.
