It has been announced that an anime work, "ONE PIECE FAN LETTER," has been produced to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the TV anime "ONE PIECE," which is based on Eiichiro Oda's popular manga, and will be broadcast on Fuji TV and other stations from 9:30 a.m. on October 20th. The anime is based on Tomohito Osaki's short story series "ONE PIECE novel Mugiwara Stories," and will be directed by Ishiya Megumi and Mori Keisuke, who were main staff members of the 1015th episode of the TV anime, "Straw Hat Luffy! The Man Who Will Become Pirate King," and the opening theme "Ahhhh!" for the Egghead arc. Toyoda Momoka will be in charge of the script. Composer Tokuda Masahiro has written new soundtracks for the work.
The work will be an ensemble drama that focuses on people who "do not pursue" One Piece, and depicts the reunion of the Straw Hat Pirates from their perspective. The story is set in the Sabaody Archipelago two years after the Summit War in which Luffy lost his brother Ace, and the protagonist, a young girl who has a strong admiration for Nami, sets off on a small adventure...
It has also been announced that the hit animated film "ONE PIECE FILM RED" (directed by Taniguchi Goro), released in 2022, will be broadcast completely uncut on Fuji TV from 7pm on October 13th. This will be the first time that the film will be broadcast on terrestrial television. From 9:30pm on the same day, "ONE PIECE NEWS" will be streamed on the official "ONE PIECE" YouTube channel, where new information will be announced.
