Actor Wakana Matsumoto attended the Fuji TV Drama Live 2024 Autumn event, a joint event for Fuji TV's October drama series, held at Fuji TV Wangan Studio (Koto-ku, Tokyo) on September 19th. Matsumoto, who will be taking on the role of a villain in her first lead role in a Fuji TV drama series in "Watashi no Takaramono" (Thursdays at 10pm), which starts on October 17th, said, "It's a poignant human drama with the forbidden theme of 'brood parasitism'!" The drama is the third drama to deal with the taboo of marriage, produced by Reiko Misao, who also produced "Hirugao: Love Affairs in the Afternoon" (2014) and "Anata ga Kuretanembe" (2023). Matsumoto plays the main character, Miu Kanzaki, who gives birth to and raises a child with a man other than her husband, disguising it as her husband's child. Matsumoto explained about her role, "She meets her childhood friend from middle school, and a lot of things happen... and then she becomes pregnant with a child from someone other than her husband, lies to her husband, gives birth to the child and raises it." She introduced the role, saying, "Why did she have to become a villain? That aspect is one of the highlights." Tanaka Kei, who plays her husband, and Fukazawa Tatsuya, who plays the childhood friend, were also in attendance and promoted the drama together.

The main cast of Fuji TV's October dramas gathered on this day. Appearing on stage were Suzuka Hiroshi, Matsumoto Honoka, and Mikata Ryosuke from "Usouki Rhetoric" (Mondays 9pm); Shuri, Otozuki Kei, and Nakagawa Tsubasa from "Monster" (Mondays 10pm); Sorimachi Takashi, Sugino Yosuke, and Shiraishi Mai from "Okura: Unsolved Case Investigation" (Tuesdays 9pm); and Fujiwara Tatsuya, Hirose Alice, and Kohinata Fumiyo from "All-Area Anomaly Solution Room" (Wednesdays 10pm).

Miyase Ryuya and Ono Karin from "Snowdrop's First Love" (Tuesdays 11pm); and Suzuki Nobuyuki and Kurashina Kana from "Bantman" (Saturdays 11:40pm). The comedy duo "Untouchable" and announcer Niimi Yuka served as MCs.
