56-year-old talent Aota Noriko will be appearing on Kuroyanagi Tetsuko's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), broadcasting at 1pm on September 20th.
Aota was active in the idol group "C.C. Girls" in the 1990s, and after graduating she was active in dramas and variety shows. In 2010, at the age of 42, she married singer Tamaki Koji, who is nine years older than her. She took a break from show business for several years to support her husband.
Aota met Tamaki when she was around 20 years old. Tamaki was already a superstar active in the rock band Anzenchitai and as a solo artist. It was more than 20 years later that they met again.
Although most people were against their marriage, 14 years later she says she is very happy and reveals some details about her private life. Tamaki appeared on "Tetsuko's Room" one month before her wedding, and looks back on the time.
