It has been announced that a TV anime adaptation of "TO BE HERO X," a new project by Aniplex and bilibili, one of China's largest video sites, will be broadcast on Fuji TV in 2025. A star-studded cast of voice actors has also been announced, including Miyano Mamoru playing X, a top hero "known by everyone and unknown by everyone."
"TO BE HERO X" is set in a world where heroes with special abilities are cheered on. Hero rankings change depending on people's "trust values."
Hanae Natsuki will play Mr. Perfect Nice, a hero ranked 10 who dances perfectly and wins flawlessly; Shimazaki Nobunaga will play the blue flash, Soul Den, who inherits the rank 9; Yamadera Kouichi will play Tora, a hard-boiled super dog ranked 8; Minase Inori will play Lucky Cian, the color of good fortune whose singing voice is ranked 7; Sakura Ayane will play Loli, a genius mechanic girl with justice ranked 6; Matsuoka Yoshitsugu will play Little Johnny, the unwavering bond between man and beast ranked 5; Nakamura Yuichi will play Silence, a silent assassin whose words are even more deadly ranked 4; Uchiyama Kouki will play Ryo Ryu, an indomitable outsider with a smoldering ambition ranked 3; and Hanazawa Kana will play Queen, a lone queen aiming for the top ranked 2. Hiroyuki Sawano will be in charge of the main theme "JEOPARDY," and music will be provided by KOHTA YAMAMOTO, Kenmochi Hidefumi, DAIKI (AWSM.), Mutsuki Shuhei, Fukasawa Hideyuki, Mase Misaki, and Takada Ryuichi (MONACA). The first promotional video featuring the 10 main heroes has also been released.
The announcement was made at the online event "Aniplex Online Fest 2024," held on September 16th.
