Actress Yuna Kuroshima celebrated her 29th birthday on March 15th, and a surprise ceremony was held on the set of the drama series "Unsolved Cases: Metropolitan Police Department Document Investigator Season 3" (TV Asahi, Thursdays at 9 PM), in which she will appear starting in April.
A special pink cake decorated with "documents" related to the drama was prepared, and the staff celebrated with cheers and applause. Kuroshima seemed touched and said, "This is my last year in my twenties, so I'm going to enjoy it to the fullest!! Let's all work hard and stay energetic until the very end of filming!!"
"Unsolved Cases: Metropolitan Police Department Document Investigator" is a mystery series that began in April 2018, in which detectives investigate unsolved cases using written documents as clues. This is the third installment, approximately six years after the first. Brainy detective Narumi Risa (Kyoka Suzuki) faces a crisis in the survival of the 6th Section (Document Deciphering Section) of the Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigation Division, due to the transfer of her partner, the physically strong and passionate detective Yashiro Tomo (Haru), and the absence of a section chief. At this point, Mutsu Hinako (Kuroshima), a career officer from the National Police Agency who values fulfillment over promotion, volunteers to become the new section chief. Together, they take on difficult cases as a new partner.
