The final episode (episode 10) of the drama series "We Are Worse at Love Than Pandas" (Nippon Television Network, Saturdays at 9pm), starring actors Moka Kamishiraishi and Toma Ikuta, aired on March 14th, and it has been revealed that the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region) was 3.5% for households and 2.0% for individuals.
The drama is based on the novel of the same name by Kazuaki Sena (Kodansha). It's a new kind of academic romantic comedy that teaches hints for living happily from the courtship behaviors of animals. This marks Kamishiraishi's first leading role in a terrestrial television drama series.
The final episode explored the fate of the love between Ichiyo (Kamishiraishi) and Tsukasa (Ikuta), who are unable to be honest with each other and keep missing each other; whether Aria (Shishido Kafka) will be able to walk the runway; and the meaning of love for humans.
