The final episode (episode 8) of the drama series "Minami-kun is My Lover!?" starring Iinuma Ai (TV Asahi, Tuesdays at 9pm) will be broadcast on September 10th.

Chiyomi (Iinuma) and Minami-kun (Yagi Yusei) care more for each other than ever. They confide their secret to their families and spend a happy time together, enjoying fireworks as a summer memory, but the time to part ways is approaching.

One morning, Minami-kun's father, Haruyuki (Sawamura Ikki), visits the Horikiri family. Haruyuki tells the university professor who helped him a long time ago about Minami-kun and suggests that they get him checked out. Understanding Haruyuki's feelings that "as a parent, I can't just sit back and do nothing," Minami-kun decides to take the test.

When Minami-kun returns from the test, he requests that "I want to eat a cake that is as tall as me," and Chiyomi and the others enjoy the cake together, but in the middle of the cake, Minami-kun begins to fade away...
