The TBS Sunday drama "Reboot," starring Ryohei Suzuki (Sundays at 9 PM), recently updated its official website's relationship chart, adding a certain character.
On March 15, it was announced that Kabuki actor Ichikawa Danjuro would play the role of Shinkita Yaichi, a powerful politician aiming for the prime ministership as the "last great man."
Yaichi is the leader of the largest opposition party and aims to seize power in order to become prime minister, and is prepared to do any dirty work to achieve that. On the other hand, he is also close to Goroku (played by Yukiya Kitamura), so it remains to be seen whether his actions are good or evil. He will appear in the next episodes, episodes 9 and 10.
When Danjuro's appearance was announced, the relationship chart on the official website was also updated. Comments on social media included: "His overwhelming aura makes him perfect for the role of a politician," "He had incredible presence," "He just seems suspicious," "If he's the mastermind, it suits him too well, it's scary," and "When did this mysterious politician appear on the relationship chart?"
