On October 25th, singer Dream Ami appeared on the "Zootopia 2" stage, which was held on the main stage of the "Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival 2025" event in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, wearing a cosplay-style costume inspired by the gazelle for which she is a voice actress. "I had the gazelle horns custom made for me. I also chose a gazelle-like miniskirt for my costume," she said, showing off her beautiful legs. The costume, which highlighted her great figure, and the high level of perfection of the horns drew cheers from the audience.
Also appearing on stage was voice actor Hiro Shimono, who plays the new character in the series, the snake Gary.
Unfortunately, the event was held in the rain, so Shimono commented on Dream Ami's costume, "It looks cold," to which Dream Ami replied with a wry smile, "It is cold, but I'll bear it." She also expressed her respect for the cosplayers, saying, "There were a lot of people (at the venue) who were more serious about cosplay, so I was a bit nervous that they would think I was being a bit naive."
Shimono said with a wry smile, "It feels like deja vu to rain at this location. It happened last time too..." As it had also rained at the same location on October 15th when the unveiling event for the role of Gary was held, he "apologised" by saying, "It's a very happy event, but let me just say one thing. I'm sorry...! I don't think it's my fault, but I'm sorry!", which caused laughter from the audience.
Meanwhile, Dream Ami commented, "I'm supposed to be a sunny girl, but I'm a little too rainy, sorry." Shimono added, "I'm so sorry!" The two of them had a light-hearted conversation that blew the rain away.
