The 65th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (General TV, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM and other times), starring Akari Takaishi, was broadcast on December 26th. In this episode, Takaishi's performance, which expressed the feelings of the Japanese crested ibis, attracted the attention of viewers.
In episode 65, on the way back from Gesshoji Temple, Toki receives a marriage proposal from Ginjiro (played by Kanichiro). Meanwhile, Haven (played by Tommy Bastow) is invited by Eliza (played by Charlotte Kate Fox) to leave Japan and write a travelogue together abroad.
When Toki takes Ginjiro to the Hanada Inn, Eliza and Heaven also return. They are staying in rooms next to each other.
After leaving the inn, Toki and Heaven chat for a bit before parting ways at the foot of a bridge. Realizing his feelings for Heaven, Toki sheds tears alone on the bridge.
In a post on the same day on the program's official account (@asadora_bk_nhk), it was written, "Takaishi said, 'The moment I realized I loved Heaven, tears started flowing without me even realizing it. Toki made me realize that our hearts can move suddenly.'"
